FAQS | P.W. Shoe Lofts

 

1. ARE THE PRICES PER RESIDENT?

No, PW Shoe Loft's apartment prices are per unit. The units can be shared by multiple residents and the rental fee split amongst the group. The number of occupants per unit can vary from 1-5 for our one, two and three-bedroom units.

 

2. ARE THE UNITS FURNISHED?

No, but if you prefer leasing a furnished unit, we can help you coordinate a furniture rental package.

 

3. WHAT PARKING OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

Covered, connected and assigned garage parking spaces @ $100/month; SLU parking lot @ Locust and Theresa available to SLU students/staff via SLU parking package; Additional parking rental programs are available from our neighbors at Nuelle Auto Service and Moto Europa.

4. WHAT'S THE AVERAGE UTILITY (ELECTRIC) COST?

Depending on the occupant’s usage, monthly electric costs range from $65-$155.

5. IS THERE LAUNDRY ONSITE FOR THE UNITS WITHOUT WASHER/DRYERS?

Yes, and it's free for our residents!

6. WHAT LEASE TERM OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

Most of our leases are written for 12 month terms, but on occasion can accommodate 6 or 9 month lease terms. Please note that there may be a premium cost for such terms.

7. WHAT IS THE SPEED OF THE WIRELESS INTERNET?

The internet at PW offers extremely low latency as it is connected directly to the major internet backbones. Free WiFi has speeds up to 50mbps.  If you require faster speeds, PW’s service provider also offers a single hardwired jack in the apartment with speeds up to 100mbps upload and 100mbps download @ $20 per month or a single hardwired jack in the apartment with speeds up to 1000mbps upload and 1000mbps download @ $60 per month. Both hardwired options require a router.
